The Great Discontent - online archive of interviews or artists

The Great Discontent interviews artists with immense passion, drive, love for creativity and even a little madness.

Beautifully laid out pages, well considered magazine-inspired style that is adapted from screen reading.

Timothy Goodman

Encouraged in to graphic design through various mentor relationships in his youth.

Did 40 Days of Dating illustrations with his girlfriend.

each day they did two illustrations based on what was going on in their relationship, an open view into them as a couple.

Used variety of approaches - quotes from general life or personalised quotes between themselves, sometimes just typefaces stating it, sometimes showing with illustrations to accompany and blur in with the text, or sometimes short animations.

Some are hard to read and take alot of concentration.  However, they text and image feel fluid and working together, as a couple :)

some are raw and niave, some are neatly digitalised.
